Privacy Policy

Moonkey's Mission ("the Game") is developed by Simply Technical. This privacy policy explains how the Game handles your information.

Information We Collect

The Game does not require an account and does not ask for your name, email, or any other personal data.

Firebase Analytics is used to collect anonymised gameplay telemetry. The events collected include: run started (character, weapon archetype, difficulty, heat level), run ended (time survived, distance, level, kill count, bosses defeated, cause of death), boss and mini-boss reached/defeated, victory, and nightmare mode entered. Firebase also automatically collects standard app metadata: a pseudonymous app-instance ID (not linked to your identity), device model, OS version, app version, and general country/region (derived from IP — not GPS). No name, email, device ID, or other personal identifiers are collected.

The Game also uses Google AdMob to display ads (see Third-Party Services below). Google's advertising SDK may collect certain device and usage data as described in their privacy policy.

Data Stored on Your Device

The Game stores the following data locally on your device only:

Game progress (run history, meta-progression, unlocked abilities)
User preferences (audio settings, selected character/weapon)
Purchase records for cosmetic items

This data is stored in Android SharedPreferences and never leaves your device. It is not transmitted to us or any third party.

In-App Purchases

The Game offers optional cosmetic in-app purchases. All transactions are handled entirely by Google Play Billing. We do not process, store, or have access to your payment information. Google's handling of your billing data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

Advertising

The Game displays rewarded ads and interstitial ads powered by Google AdMob. Rewarded ads are optional and shown at the player's request (e.g., to continue a run). Interstitial ads may be shown between gameplay sessions.

Google AdMob may collect device identifiers, IP address, and ad interaction data to serve and measure ads. This data is handled by Google and is subject to Google's Privacy Policy. We do not have access to this data.

Third-Party Services

The Game uses the following third-party services:

Google Firebase Analytics — for anonymised gameplay telemetry (see Information We Collect above). Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
Google AdMob — for displaying rewarded and interstitial ads (see Advertising above).
Google Play Billing — for processing in-app purchases (see In-App Purchases above).

We do not use any crash reporters or social media integrations.

Permissions

The Game requests the following Android permissions:

INTERNET — Required for loading ads via Google AdMob and processing in-app purchases via Google Play Billing.
VIBRATE — For haptic feedback during gameplay (optional, can be disabled in settings)
BILLING — Required for Google Play in-app purchases (cosmetics only)

The Game does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, location, storage, or any other sensitive permissions.

Children's Privacy

The Game is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes to This Policy

If this privacy policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL. Significant changes will be noted in the Game's update notes on Google Play.
